We process your email address, login information, purchase details and access information to provide the course. We store completed lessons, the last lesson opened, practice answers, selected options and test results so that you can track your progress and continue on other devices. The lawful basis for this processing is performance of the contract. Order and accounting records are retained for the period required by law.
Feedback you submit about questions is used to correct and improve the course. Authorised administrators can view feedback and practice data for this purpose. Do not enter sensitive personal data in free-text fields. We do not use the information for automated decisions with legal effects.
Supabase processes account, access and progress data; the course database is located in the EU. Stripe and Vipps process payments, and Kurskompis does not store full card details. Resend is used for login codes and purchase confirmations. The course is delivered on OpenAI's Sites infrastructure with Cloudflare. Providers may process data outside the EEA under their applicable transfer mechanisms and agreements.
Necessary local storage is used for login and to synchronise progress. This version of the course does not add its own advertising or tracking pixels. Login codes are temporary and must not be shared. Abuse prevention stores time-limited, hash-based counters for code requests.
You can request access to, correction of, a copy of and deletion of your data. Information that we are legally required to retain cannot be deleted before the retention period ends. Contact us to delete your account and practice history. You can lodge a complaint with Datatilsynet, the Norwegian Data Protection Authority.
Purchase confirmations and login codes are service messages; your purchase does not sign you up for marketing.
When you request an extension, we store the exam date and time, exam reference and review status. We check your progress before the exam, and authorised administrators review the evidence you send to support. Send only the information needed to confirm the failed exam. This processing is necessary to fulfil the course-access agreement.
Optional free-quiz statistics
A separate, optional consent allows us to count starts, completions and clicks through to the course by language and exam level. We record a random attempt ID, language, level, consent version and timestamps. These statistics do not contain answers, scores, account identity, email address, IP address or referring URL. They are not linked to payment orders. Raw records are automatically deleted within 33 days. Your choice is stored in your browser until you change it; attempt IDs are kept in the current tab’s session storage. Withdraw consent below or in the free quiz to stop measurement and request deletion of attempts still identified in that tab. Once tab storage has been cleared, older counts cannot be individually identified and expire through automatic deletion. The course and free quiz remain available without consent. Administrators see aggregate statistics only. Confirmed purchases are shown separately by the language of the payment order for internal sales reporting; they are not attributed to the free quiz.
